CHP Gives Some Precautions Against The Coming Cold Weather

  • Ensure decent ventilation;

  • Wear a face mask in case of influenza-like symptoms, while caring for patients and when visiting hospitals or practices;

  • Seek medical information if feeling unwell, and remain in the home; and

  • Get seasonal flu vaccination that is acceptable for all men aged six weeks or over except people who have known contraindications.


Food-borne ailments, especially those connected to warm pot cuisine, can also be common in chilly weather. The following preventative measures must be obtained:


  • Wash hands before handling and swallowing foods;

  • Don't patronize unlicensed sellers or people with bad hygienic standards while picking food;

  • Wash and cook all food thoroughly;

  • Vegetables should be washed thoroughly in warm running water before consumption and cooking. When appropriate, wash vegetables with tough surfaces using a clean brush to remove dirt and materials, such as pesticide residues and contaminants, in the outside and cracks;
